The Aldeia Galega Montijo 16th Century Fair is back!
From the 6th to the 8th of September 2024, the IX edition of this event will take place in the city center of Montijo. Weapon tournaments, music, street theater, streets and medieval parades are just some of the many initiatives that promise a lot of entertainment.
The fair aims to place its visitors in an environment where period crafts are carried out, merchants from other places visit, taverns and taverns with various dance, music, poetry, leapfrog and theater activities. This fair marks the granting of a new charter to Aldeia Galega (today Montijo), as part of the charter reforms promoted by D. Manuel I.
